1. Where are you from?

I am from Belgrade, one of the oldest inhabited cities in Europe and the world. Belgrade is located on the confluence of two large rivers, Sava and Danube. It is a place of a lot of history due to its unique geolocation at the intersection of cultures and geography. Long ago, there was a large sea next to it.

2. What do you do at Treeconomy?

Everything related to geospatial data engineering so doing my best to automate things to help make it easier for other teams to do their magic.

3. What are you excited about working in Treeconomy?

Being a big environmentalist, working at Treeconomy is a dream. In order to best contribute to the global fight against climate change and its consequences, it is truly important to understand that things need to be changed in a business-sustainable manner, that is, to follow the true path of sustainable development. This can only be achieved by understanding nature and analysing it, and that is what I hope to help Treeconomy do.

4. What is your favorite tree?

Plane tree at Milosev konak. It is 200 years 200-year-old massive tree, and it has to be supported now in order to stand. The tree is a true fighter and survivor. Another one is an olive tree in Athens that is I think one thousand years old. Imagine the things it has seen.

5. What other things do you like to do outside of work?

I love spending time with my family, going for long walks in nature, and having coffee to go.
I love walking with coffee. I love to go jogging and swimming and play basketball as well as jam with my bass guitar.
